The attention of all the District Educational Officers in the state is invited
to the subject cited and they are informed that as per the guidelines of NCERT,
New Delhi,the Department of School Education,Telangana State is proposing to
conduct District Level Science,Mathematics&Environment Exhibition(DLSMEE)
in all the Districts and State Level Science Mathematics and Environment
Exhibition(SLSMEE)for the year 2018-19.



The theme for the SLSMEE 2018-19 and JNNSMEE-19 is"

ScientificSolutions for Challenges in Life".

Sub themes:
1.Agriculture and Organic Farming
2.Health and Cleanliness
3.Resource Management
4.Waste Management
5.Transport and Communication
6.Mathematical Modeling


(Note:Sub themes listed above are suggestive.Students may also develop
innovative models on any other sub theme,pertaining to the main theme-
scientific solutions for challenges in life].


Vide ref.2nd cited,VITM,Bangalore informed that the Southern India Science Fair SISF 2019 is going to be hosted by Director-Secondary Education,0/o The Commissioner of Public Instruction,Government of Karnataka atBangalore and they requested to complete the State Level Event before 30th November,2018.

In this regard,all the DEOs in the state are requested to conduct 3-day District Level Science Exhibition between 25th October to 9th November,2018 in their respective Districts.The Winners of the District Level Exhibitions in theabove said theme/sub themes will participate at State Level Exhibition.

TheState Level Science Mathematics and Environment Exhibition SLSMEE wlll be held between 15th November to 19 November,2018.The dates and venue ofSLSMEE will be informed separately.


Further,it is informed that the winners at SLSMEE will participate in SISF2019 and JNNSMEE 2019.

Therefore,all the DEOs are requested to identify the venue with sufficient infrastructure and facilities to hold the DLSMEE and intimate the same to 0/oSCERT,TS,Hyderabad before 23.10.2018.Further,they are requested to communicate to all the upper primary and Secondary Schools on the conduct ofDLSMEE in the District and to give media coverage on conduct of the event.
